Injoy, Inc. is pleased to announce a writing contest–actually two! One contest is for students, and the other is for EVERYone!
Student Contest:
Deadline to enter the student contest is January 31, 2013. (Now closed, but like the Injoy, Inc. Facebook page here to be the first to get the news of future writing contests and opportunities.)
Easy entry rules:
- Submit your story concept and a sample of your writing before January 31, 2013. (1-2 of your best chapters is a great sample) Submit your entry here.
- If you are selected as a finalist, you submit a proposal for the grand prize. Injoy, Inc. will help authors prepare a professional proposal for your book to be submitted by March 31, 2013.
- One grand prize winner will be selected from the finalist proposals to receive a publishing package.
Not finished with your book? No problem. Just submit a good sample of your book (approximately 1500-3000 words) before January 31, 2013, and if you are a finalist, you have until March 31, 2013 to submit your proposal and timeline for the complete manuscript! Injoy, Inc. will work with you to create a manageable timeline for the submission of your final manuscript. (Final manuscript must be submitted in an MS Word Doc format, double-spaced, and should be at least 25-50,000 words.)
Prize package includes a no-cost publishing package which includes cover design, formatting, editing, marketing, and webpage, 10 free copies of your prize winning book (a $1770 value), plus an opportunity to publish your book with Injoy.

If you turn nineteen before April 30, 2013, you can enter our regular Writing Contest.
Submissions are accepted through February 28, 2013, 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time.
Easy entry rules:
- Submit your story concept and 1-2 of your best chapters (1500-3000 words suggested) before February 28, 2013. Entry should be uploaded as a MS Word Doc format file, typed in Times New Roman, 12 point font, single spaced. Writer must affirm that the submission is original material.
- If you are selected as a finalist, we will work with you to prepare a proposal to submit by April 30, 2013 for a chance to win the grand prize of Injoy, Inc. helping you finish and publish your book.
- One grand prize winner will be selected from the finalist proposals to receive a publishing package.
