Shari Popejoy is a freelance writer and author who lives in the quiet country of the Ozarks in a house that her husband built for her. They fell into the homeschool lifestyle when she decided to keep her oldest daughter home from kindergarten so they could spend the days pursuing interesting educational and fun activities. Soon, the routine of traditional school wasn’t even an option anymore, as all the children thrived with a customized education based on their particular learning styles, interests, talents, and goals. That homeschool lifestyle particularly fits with her writing projects and the publishing company the family runs, Injoy, Inc.

She writes product and curriculum reviews for Home Educating Family, writes a marriage column on the Home Educating Family Blog, and is a regular contributor to the Home Educating Family magazine. Her writing has also appeared in Thriving Family and online Christian sites like {in}courage and Today’s Christian Woman.

She founded a local homeschool fine arts co-op for hundreds of homeschool children, and is currently writing an ebook on how to start a homeschool co-op.

She has written seven books, including the Livingstone Library, an allegorical adventure series that features character with character, science, philosophy, literature, math, and history. Her first book, Won Without Words, is a book of encouragement for wives whose husbands aren’t serving the Lord. Shari writes a blog of encouragement for wives at Won Without Words.
